TEECCINO IS MADE FROM A NUMBER OF DIFFERENT INGREDIENTS, EACH OF WHICH IS INDIVIDUALLY GROUND, ROASTED AND THEN BLENDED.

Unlike coffee beans,?which are ground to a specific size for each type of brewing method, herbal coffee is a composite grind that works in all types of coffee brewing equipment including drip coffee makers, French press pots, percolators and espresso machines.

The following tips?will help you brew a delicious cup of herbal coffee:

BREWING TIPS FOR TEECCINO HERBAL COFFEE

Just like coffee, some people like it strong while others prefer it weaker. Experiment by making several cups of Teeccino at different strengths to find the quantity that is perfect for you.

Paper filters tend to brew slowly because the composite grind in herbal coffee may have some fine particles that can clog the paper. Permanent gold filters save trees and produce a better flavored brew because paper filters absorbs some flavor. Permanent filters are easy to rinse clean and are available for both cone and flat bottom coffee makers. Once you switch to gold filters, you’ll never again run out of filters!?

Note: if you are gluten-sensitive however, we highly ?recommend using paper filters to make sure that no Teeccino grounds get into your cup.

You may like it black or with milk, non-dairy milk or half & half if that is how you normally enjoy coffee. Taste Teeccino first before adding sweetener. Teeccino’s Mediterranean flavors are naturally sweet from dates and figs so you may not need additional sweetener.

If you want the flavor of a cappuccino but don’t have a cappuccino machine, consider a variety of different brewing options we at Teeccino personally use and recommend. You can get just as fabulous a flavor and even better foamy milk with half the work.

BREWING INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMMON METHODS
Drip Coffee Maker

Drip coffee makers allow you to brew Teeccino to the strength you prefer. You can even blend Teeccino with regular coffee and make “half caf” or “quarter caf” depending on your need.

  1. Add the following measurements into a drip filter, either paper or permanent.
?????Strong brew:?Add 1 rounded tablespoon of Teeccino for every 2 cups of water to a permanent gold or paper filter. Add a tablespoon for the “pot” too for extra strength.
????Medium brew:?Add 1 level tablespoon of Teeccino for every 2 cups of water.
??Light brew: Add 1 rounded teaspoon of Teeccino for every 2 cups water.
  2. Add water to the chamber. Use purified or filtered water if available for better flavor.
  3. Start your drip brewer and shortly you will be able to enjoy a steaming cup of Teeccino!
  4. If you have any brewed Teeccino left over in the pot, refrigerate and reheat later or drink iced.
Pour-Over Brewer
  1. Place filter on a 10-12 ounce (300-350 ml) cup.
  2. Add 1 heaping tablespoon (10g) of Teeccino Herbal Coffee to the filter.
  3. Heat water to a boil and let stand a moment until bubbles disappear.
  4. Pour just enough water over the Teeccino grounds to wet them which allows the grounds to expand or “bloom.”
  5. Slowly pour the water in a spiral motion over the grounds until the brewer is full. Let the water drip into the cup.
  6. Top with more water if necessary.
French Press Pots
  1. Add 1-2 tablespoons to “3-cup” pots, 3-4 tablespoons to “8-cup” pots, 5-6 tablespoons to “12-cup” pots.
  2. Pour in boiling water.
  3. Let steep for 5 minutes before pressing the plunger down.
  4. Pour and enjoy!
Espresso Machines
  1. Fill the double porta-filter with one rounded tablespoon of Teeccino. Don’t overfill as Teeccino swells during brewing
  2. Tamp firmly.
  3. Brew 2 oz of Teeccino into your cup.
  4. For larger cups, brew twice through the same grounds. A stronger extraction will come through the second pass-through after the Teeccino grounds have swelled slightly.
  5. Follow the normal directions for making a cappuccino or latte with steamed milk or non-dairy milk.
  6. ?
Iced Teeccino

Whether you have Teeccino already brewed or not, you can be sipping an iced cold glass of Teeccino quickly following these directions:

Method One: Chilled Teeccino

  1. Refrigerate brewed Teeccino. (Teeccino will last up to a week in the refrigerator without losing flavor!)
  2. Pour over ice and add cold milk or non-dairy milk.
  3. Sweeten to taste. If using honey, sweeten when hot. Try liquid non-caloric sweeteners that dissolves easily in chilled Teeccino.

Method Two: Fresh Brewed Teeccino

  1. Brew Teeccino using 2 tablespoons to 2 cups water in a drip coffee maker or with 10 oz water.
  2. Fill a 16 oz glass 2/3rd full with ice
  3. Add 1/4 cup cold milk, or more, depending on taste
  4. Pour brewed Teeccino over the ice and milk.
  5. Sweeten as desired.
Frothing Milk

With a simple handheld milk frother, you can make professional looking cups of Teeccino with a cap of velvet foam to delight the senses.

  1. Heat milk or soy milk? in a pan on the stove or in a measuring cup in the microwave. You need about 4-6 oz of milk for each cup.
  2. When milk is hot but before it starts to boil, remove from heat. Froth the milk using the wand to incorporate some air to create foam as you “whiz” up the milk. Tap the pot a few times and the bubble size will reduce to velvet foam!
  3. Add frothed milk to your mugs of Teeccino and top with foam.
  4. Savor, relax & enjoy!!

  1. I'm very interested in your product. Can you tell me the difference between herbal roasted coffee or tea? Is it just a matter of brewing styles? And what sampler would you suggest?

    1. Hello Susan!

      Thanks for contacting us!

Both our herbal coffee & herbal tea have the same exact ingredients! The difference is in how you brew. If you are interested in the all-purpose grind that you brew in your coffee machine or french press, I would recommend our 10 Flavor Sampler for $14.99. If you are interested in steeping like tea, I recommend our 10 Flavor Tea Bag Sampler for $7.99. All samplers qualify for free shipping!
